Cold Wear- Thermals

BASE LAYER - It is both lightweight and compact but plays the most critical role in a clothing system. An effective base layer fabric must wick perspiration from your skin to the outer surface of the fabric where it evaporates quickly, leaving your skin warm and dry. To do this the garment must be close fitting yet stretchy, so as not to restrict movement. Of course, the great thing about base layer is their versatility - Wear them alone, under a windproof shell or as part of a multi-layer clothing system. For colder conditions try a mid-weight base layer for even greater insulation.

Trekmates Merino Active wear is made from 100% ultra fine Merino wool. The Merino fabric from which they are constructed is lightweight, ultra soft and extremely comfortable to wear against your skin.
